Responsibilities
- Perform the functions of a Dealer on an assigned shift.
- Deal an assigned game in accordance with established policy and procedures.
- Conduct the assigned game with respect to Seminole Gaming’s Compliance and Regulations and procedures.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and enjoyment on a particular assigned table game.
- Provide superior customer service, positively affecting interactions with customers and employees.
- Work harmoniously with coworkers.
- Process all cash and maintain proper handling and accounting for assigned property items.
- Maintain familiarity with other gaming and entertainment/service activities for the guests.
- Explain aspects of various games to gaming patrons.
- Maintain an intimate and sound understanding of all standards, policies, and procedures.
- Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment.
- Treat Guests with a sense of caring and individuality.
- Show special recognition of frequent Guests.
- Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for Guests at all times.
- Present a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Maintain constant awareness of services, promotions, and events offered at the facility and inform Guests.
- Handle Team Member and Guest concerns/dissatisfaction and disputes timely and professionally.
- Inspect and ensure a clean, safe working environment, notify appropriate departments to handle deficient situations.
- Create a work environment that is safe, professional, friendly and conducive to a high level of morale, productivity and performance.
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discretely notifying appropriate management of concerns.
- Ensure prompt and discrete notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
- Dealt Black Jack with proficiency.
Requirements
- Possess a certificate of completion from an accredited Gaming School or equivalent.
- Have knowledge of Seminole Gaming’s Compliance and Regulations, as well as Policies & Procedures.
- Offer the highest possible level of customer service resulting in a maximum level of player enjoyment and return play.
Qualifications
- Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand and walk.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
