Welcome and Greeting

Welcome and greet guests. Assist in beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our order/sale system which relays orders to the Server. Deliver beverages from bar to guests in a timely manner.

Service Duties

• Maintain clean service areas.
• Monitor and observe the dining experience of your guests.
• Ensure that they are satisfied with the food and service.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Prepare the bar bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable).

Supportive Roles

• Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise.
• Be ready and willing to assist bus persons with clearing and resetting tables.

Additional Responsibilities

• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager of immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Customer Oriented – Ability to take care of the guests’ needs while following MPK procedures.
• Working Under Pressure – Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
• Safety – Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety as well as safely operate and handle all required equipment, appliances, and tools. Must follow all safety policies and procedures.

• Communication – Ability to communicate by speaking, effectively and clearly with guests, coworkers, and management. Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others.
