Cobol Developer ( midlevel)

About the role

Seeking a seasoned mainframe developer with extensive experience in COBOL 74 and 85 programming, system analysis and design, and testing on Client 2200 series or ClearPath mainframes.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Client ECL and DMS 2200/RDMS for system development.
• Maintain production work and perform error diagnostic/debugging in a mainframe environment.
• Create and maintain documentation related to designing, programming, and testing.
• Create and maintain web services in a mainframe environment.

Requirements

• 60 months experience with COBOL 74 and/or 85 programming on Client 2200 series or ClearPath mainframes.
• 60 months experience with system analysis and design, programming, and unit and integrated testing on Client 2200 series or ClearPath mainframes.
• 60 months experience utilizing Client ECL and DMS 2200/RDMS.
• 60 months experience monitoring production work and performing error diagnostic/debugging activities in a mainframe environment.
• 24 months experience creating and maintaining web services in a mainframe environment.
