About the role

Prep fiberglass part(s) by grinding, trimming, drilling, and cutting using pre-established measurements, drill guides and templates.

Responsibilities

• Move parts into the grinding booth, pull part from mold.
• Grind, trim, drill and cut parts, using hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools.
• Use proper equipment and processes.
• Layout of options by reading work orders, using prints and/or overlays.
• General housekeeping of tools, area, and department, this includes keeping track of the filter log for the dust chamber.
• Work quickly, safely, and efficiently to meet production schedule and tack times.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Mathematical Skills: General math skills required.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
