Coatings Supervisor - Bridgwater

About the role

This advert is to register your interest for future coatings roles expected to become available at HPC. We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Coating Supervisor to support the delivery of coating activities within the MEH Alliance on Hinkley Point C.

Responsibilities

• Directing industrial painters and coating applicators on major nuclear construction structures.
• Enforcing strict site safety rules, toolbox talks, and RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)
• Inspecting surface preparation, climatic conditions, and dry film thickness (DFT) against technical specifications.
• Managing daily outputs, shift handovers, and coordination with other trade superintendents

Requirements

• CCNSG safety passport
• ICATS, Train the Painter, or ICORR/NACE coating inspection grades
• CSCS Supervisor card
• Proven supervisory background in heavy industrial, marine, or energy infrastructure environments

Schedule

Weekly Working Hours & OT: 10 on 4 off. 06:15 - 17:30. 40 min break. O/T on Sat first 4hrs @1.4 & 4.5hrs@1.8, Sun OT1. Possible opportunity to work on a non-working day at OT rates. Overtime will not come into effect until your first full working week.

Pay

Pay rate £33.23ph basic.
