Coatings Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Apply epoxy coatings to various surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish that meets industry standards.
• Polish concrete surfaces to achieve desired texture and shine, maintaining consistency across projects.
• Inspect surfaces before and after application to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan and execute coating projects efficiently.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, performing routine checks and necessary repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Document work processes and outcomes for reference and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in applying epoxy coatings, Minimum of 3 years of experience in polishing concrete
• Preferred Experience: Experience in a coatings role within a construction or industrial setting, Familiarity with various types of coating materials and their applications
• Required Skills And Abilities: Proficient in the use of tools and equipment related to coatings application, Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints, Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team, Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors
