Responsibilities
- Operation of sandblast cabinet and chemical stripping booth
- Organize and maintain consumables and maintenance supplies
- Conduct preventative maintenance procedures on coating chamber shielding
- Setup, load, unload and maintain coating fixtures
- Perform visual inspections of pre and post-coated optics for defects
- Measure finished parts using a variety of metrology equipment
- Use shop and power tools
- Participate in 6S activities
- Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand spec sheets, run sheets, routings, and work instructions
- Good math skills, including proficiency in basic algebra
- Basic computer skills including working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
Physical Requirements
- Adequate manual dexterity to perform essential functions
- Ability to use some physical efforts in the handling of heavy materials and machinery (most tasks require no more than 50 lbs. lifting)
- Position requires about 80% standing
- Ability to work in manufacturing environment
Other Requirements
- Work overtime as required
- US Citizenship or permanent residence required
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
