About the role

This isn't just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy. HDR is seeking a Coastal Engineering Project Manager to join our nationally ranked team of coastal professionals across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate single- and multidisciplinary teams throughout the full project lifecycle (initiation through close-out)
  • Manage complex small- to medium-sized projects, or serve as a key leader on larger efforts
  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring successful delivery on schedule, budget, and quality
  • Perform and oversee analysis and design for:
    • Cosstal restoration projects
    • Beach nourishment projects
    • Shoreline protection systems (revetments, living shorelines)
    • Sea level rise and resilience assessments
    • Navigation and dredging projects (marinas, harbors, channels)

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Coastal, Ocean, or Civil engineering preferred
  • PMP certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 7 years related experience inclusive of a minimum 2 years experience in project management
  • Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.

Skills

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Coastal, Ocean, or Civil engineering preferred, PMP certification

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 7 years related experience inclusive of a minimum 2 years experience in project management, Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This position is full-time and works a standard 40-hour week.
