About the role

Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Princeton, New Jersey, seeks applications for coaching positions in the Athletic Department for the 2025-26 academic year. The school offers various positions for Stuart’s athletic teams for students in Grades 5 through 12. These are seasonal, stipend positions with compensation based on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Coach designated sports for Middle School students (Grades 5-8)
• Coach designated sports for Upper School students (Grades 9-12)
• Assist in game preparation and strategy
• Support team building and player development
• Attend team meetings and games as required

Requirements

• Experience coaching middle school and/or high school athletes
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of the sport and its rules

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience working with girls in athletics
• Commitment to the school's mission of educating the whole child and inspiring exceptional leadership and service

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Pay

• Middle School Coaching: Stipend Range: $2,000-$3,500
• Upper School Coaching: Stipend Range: $3,000-$6,500

Schedule

• Middle School Coaching: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 3:15 pm - 5 pm, with potential for later commitments on game days
• Upper School Coaching: Every weekday after school from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, with occasional weekend commitments and off-campus program variations
