COACH – U-DISTRICT | SEATTLE, WA

Duties

• Warmly greet and send off athletes and drop-ins with a smile.
• Aid with membership inquiries, questions, and adjustments.
• Provide a thorough, informative tour of Industrious to potential clients.
• Lead group classes and instruct on safe and proper movement, offering corrections when needed.
• Create a fun, energetic, and inspiring atmosphere for athletes.
• Operate membership sales software efficiently, creating athlete profiles, setting up, and adjusting memberships.
• Complete InBody 270 certification and assist members with testing and results analysis.
• Help maintain facility standards: stock retail, clean and stock restrooms/showers, vacuum and mop floors, etc.
• Attend team meetings.

Required Skills & Certifications

• CPR & AED (must be obtained within 60 days of hiring)
• Comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and customer service
• Highly attentive to detail
• Great organizational skills
• Ability to adapt and learn on the fly
• Positive, energetic, and fun attitude and demeanor
• Passionate about personal self-growth and development

Education and Experience

• High school level education or higher
• 1-2 years customer service experience preferred
• 2+ years fitness experience
• Previous coaching experience a plus
