About the role

The Coach/Non-Driver Head Football Coach will be responsible for leading the Myers Park High School football program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive football program that aligns with the school's mission and values.
• Manage team practices, games, and travel arrangements.
• Work closely with the Athletic Director to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to student-athletes, fostering their academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance the overall athletic department.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in coaching, education, or a related field.
• Proven success as a head coach at the high school level.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school football coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Experience with budget management and fundraising.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is 10 months per year, with a competitive benefits package.
