Coach: High School-Baseball JV Coach

About the role

The high school JV Coach is responsible for coordinating the JV sports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all coaching duties for the assigned sport
• Attend staff meetings called by the principal, athletic director, or head coach
• Coordinate all activities of the JV team, including:
  • Practice schedules
  • Issuing, taking care of, and collecting equipment
  • Arranging transportation to away games
  • Monitoring team members’ academic progress throughout the school year
  • Securing personnel such as managers and game scorers
  • Supervising athletes after practice or games until all athletes have left school grounds
• Scout opponents when possible
• Treat all injuries in the absence of the trainer
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the head coach
