Coach, Flag Football (Pre-K to 1st Grade)
The J is hiring enthusiastic and knowledgeable football coaches for our Blitz program, serving boys and girls in PreK through 1st grades. Coaches will provide instruction and share their knowledge of the game to young players. The program emphasizes skill development, self-discipline, safety, and the value of good sportsmanship.

Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct football drills at practices.
- Develop and implement game strategies.
- Mentor and motivate players.
- Help set up and tear down equipment.
- Maintain a positive and safe environment for all participants.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff.
Requirements
- Knowledge of flag football rules and strategies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience working with children preferred; must be able to work with various age groups and skill levels.
- Experience as a coach or player is required.
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR (if required).
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing, walking, and exposure to outdoor weather.
- Frequent walking/running, eye/hand/foot coordination, talking, and hearing to demonstrate and execute skills.
- Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. to move equipment as needed.
Schedule
Part-time positions available for training sessions on weeknights and coaching games on weekends for youth PreK-1st grade.
