About the role

Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the Junior Varsity (JV) sports team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all coaching duties for the JV team.
• Attend staff meetings called by the principal, athletic director, or head coach.
• Coordinate all activities of the JV team, including:
  • Scheduling practices
  • Issuing, maintaining, and collecting equipment
  • Arranging transportation for away games
  • Monitoring team members' academic progress throughout the school year
  • Securing personnel such as managers and game scorers
  • Supervising athletes after practices or games until all are off school grounds
• Scout opponents when possible.
• Treat injuries in the absence of the trainer.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the head coach.
