Overview
Are you passionate about running and love helping others achieve their goals? As a Coach at Fleet Feet, you’ll be the heartbeat of our community training programs providing encouragement, motivation, and on-site support for runners and walkers of all levels.
Reporting to the Training Program Lead, you’ll guide participants through training sessions, promote safety, and help create a fun, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.
This role is perfect for outgoing, fitness-minded individuals who want to give back to the running community and be part of something meaningful. No formal coaching certification required!
What You'll Do
- Support and encourage participants at scheduled training sessions.
- Aid with day-of logistics such as warm-ups, cool-downs, hydration stations, and safety protocols.
- Provide basic tips and guidance on topics like pacing, form, and recovery.
- Collaborate with the Training Program Lead to ensure smooth and enjoyable sessions.
- Foster a sense of community, inclusion, and camaraderie among participants.
- Be a visible and positive ambassador for Fleet Feet at all training events.
What We're Looking For
- A passion for running, walking, fitness, and building community.
- A friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality.
- Comfort working with groups and individuals in a coaching/support role.
- Reliable and punctual with a consistent presence at training sessions.
- No prior coaching experience necessary—just a love for movement and a desire to help others succeed.
