About the role
The Eastchester School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the positions of Assistant Varsity Football Coach. Four anticipated vacancies are available for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Responsibilities
- Support the head coach in planning and implementing the football program
- Work with players to improve their skills and performance
- Attend all home and away games
- Maintain a positive relationship with parents and community members
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related field
- At least three years of coaching experience at the high school level
- Experience with youth sports development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Strong leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Benefits
The position offers a stipend ranging from $5,885 to $6,827, based on the terms of the Employment Training Agreement (ETA) contract.
Pay
The assistant varsity football coach will earn a stipend of $5,885 to $6,827, as per the ETA contract.
Schedule
The employment term is for the fall season only.
