Co-Op - Thermal Management / Product Development - Fall 2026

Your Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned project(s) throughout the work term with a high level of independence and accountability.
• Participate in development activities including hands-on training, and exposure to Schaeffler’s engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Assist with product design and development tasks within the Thermal Management department.
• Create and prepare 3D models and component designs using CAD tools.
• Collaborate with team members to support efficient workflow and project completion.
• Attend departmental meetings and contribute to ongoing coolant and refrigerant system initiatives.
• Conduct research on advanced thermal management technologies.
• Support benchmarking activities and competitive analysis.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and business needs.

Your Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Maintained a 2.5 GPA or higher.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Hands-on CAD modeling experience preferred.
