Responsibilities

  • Immerse yourself in primary research and collaborate with dynamic teams assisting clients in navigating market trends and refining competitive strategies.
  • Support operational improvement by designing models for a seamless client experience, contributing to heightened efficiency and effectiveness in operational processes.
  • Support workshops, meetings, and interviews to understand and document requirements, collaborating with diverse teams to capture and synthesize essential information.
  • Gain hands-on experience shadowing product teams and enterprise-wide data integrations.
  • Contribute to data analytics assessments and actively participate in cloud migration and system implementations across major platforms.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a university degree with a track-record of academic success in the field of Cybersecurity or related studies.
  • Outcome-focused, possessing a high level of resilience, demonstrating flexibility and resolve to achieve success across a broad range of consultative contexts.
  • Familiarity with network design, network security, authentication, authorization techniques, and encryption protocols and standards.
  • Knowledge in Network Design and Security, Web or Custom Application Development, Mobile Development, Software Engineering, Identity and Authentication Technology.
  • Familiarity with network security tools for vulnerability scanning, network monitoring, network sniffing, routers, firewalls, intrusion detection and protection, anomaly detection, and encryption standards.
  • Ability to work in-office, on-site in State College, PA during the academic year.
  • Ability to work up to 20 hours per week when classes are in session (e.g., fall and spring semesters) and availability to potentially work up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks (e.g., summer).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal clearance, if necessary, for your client assignment.

Skills

  • Understand clients’ needs and challenges, applying a creative and logical approach to identify solutions.
  • Experience in one or more of the following security domains: Threat Management including Security Intelligence & Operations Consulting, Data and Application Security, Identity & Access Management, Cloud and Infrastructure Security, and/or Strategy and Risk.
  • Exposure to software tools such as Java, Python, C/C++, Java, Ruby, GO, Golang or bash, C#; SharePoint; Software code Testing and Test Automation.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
