Co-op - Manufacturing Engineering (Fall/Winter)

About the Role

Seeking 3-month or 6-month Co-Ops for the period of May 2026 to December 2026. This intern position is flexible to accommodate breaks and weekly school schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum second-year students working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to work independently while collaborating closely with maintenance technicians, production crew, and vendors.
• Excellent cross-functional team skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and computer skills, including proficiency in mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational tasks.
• Ability to read prints and schematic drawings.
• Working proficiency with SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various short- and long-term projects to improve maintenance reliability programs.
• Gain experience in equipment design, root cause analysis, trend analysis, and process improvement activities within an industrial setting.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to stand, walk, twist, turn, talk, and hear.
• Occasionally required to sit, kneel, stoop, bend, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
