Co-op - General Engineering Lab and Test Engineering

Welcome to Landis+Gyr, where we lead the transformation toward a smarter and more sustainable energy future. As part of our Co-op program, you'll gain hands-on experience in compliance testing, engineering, and automation.

General Engineering Lab Rotation

• Compliance Testing and Applications: 80% of your time will be spent on testing and applying revenue metering principles, including understanding and interpreting international and domestic standards and test procedures.
• Theory and Practical Application: Learn about compliance engineering and testing methods, data collection, evaluation, and analysis, and interpret test equipment calibration and certification.
• Continuous Improvement Projects: Work on projects focused on test system design and automation, such as environmental chamber testing, test matrix database upgrades, and automation of various testing projects.

Required Skills

• Personal Computer Knowledge: Familiarity with personal computers and their applications.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools.
• Keyboard/Typing Skills: Effective keyboard and typing skills.
• Communication: Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

Required Experience

• Undergraduate Students: Expected graduation date of 2028 or later.
• Major: Engineering, Engineering Technology, Applied Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or other relevant majors.
