About the Role
BlueWave is looking for a Fall Co-op to join our Engineering team. In this role, you'll support the creation of PV solar and battery storage design layouts and energy models, help develop construction details, and assist in reviewing construction product submittals and reliance documentation such as surveys and geotechnical reports. You'll work closely with our Engineering team to help produce the deliverables that move projects forward through design and into construction—giving you real, applied exposure to the renewable energy industry. This is a great opportunity for a student looking to build practical, project-based engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of design layouts and energy models
- Support the creation of construction details
- Review construction product submittals under the direction of subject matter experts
- Review surveys and geotechnical reports under the direction of subject matter experts
- Take on additional tasks as designated by the engineering team to help advance projects through design and construction
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with CAD preferred, but not required
- Interest in renewable energy and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Pay
$24 USD per hour (Boston - Hybrid)
