About the role

As a Network Specialist, you’ll be a licensed/Board Certified/Board Eligible professional in a specialty such as urology, otolaryngology, orthopedics, pain management, dermatology, or wound care. You’ll play a key role on the clinical operations team, providing direct patient care and assessments primarily in ambulatory health care centers, and occasionally in acute care, nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), or home settings, depending on the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform geriatric assessments, medical history reviews, physical exams, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Develop and implement plans of care, provide health education, and manage case referrals and follow-ups.
• Document patient care according to ChenMed standards for quality, service, productivity, and teamwork.
• Review basic medical history, inquire about current symptoms, and log all patient visits and medical information.
• Conduct exams and tests to diagnose conditions related to your specialty (e.g., endocrine-related issues).
• Analyze lab results and symptoms to arrive at conclusive diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
• Explain diagnoses and treatment plans to patients (and caretakers, if applicable) in clear, straightforward terms.
• Provide clinical advice for daily and long-term management of diseases or conditions, including lifestyle recommendations (diet, hygiene, exercise).
• Monitor treatment progress, adjust plans as needed, and follow up with primary care providers (PCPs) on patient well-being.
• Track patient conditions post-treatment and advise on surgeries or outside therapies when necessary.
• Collaborate with other specialized physicians to treat and manage patient conditions.
• Write and renew prescriptions for medications.
• Stay updated on advancements in your specialty and share knowledge with center personnel as needed.
• Attend center meetings and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited school and licensed to practice in the state.
• Board certification in specialty preferred.
• Current DEA and DPS Certificate of Registration.
• Minimum two (2) years of direct work or intern experience.
• Hospital privileges may be required in some cases.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the market up to 75% of the time; occasional travel to other local markets may be required.

Skills

• Rigorous medical training and broad knowledge of conditions related to your specialty.
• Ability to operate specialty-related equipment (e.g., ultrasound, EKG).
• Professional bedside manner with the ability to explain medical conditions clearly and without jargon.
• Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with other caregivers, including PCPs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook and ability to learn internal systems (e.g., Dashboard, MyNotes).
• Spoken and written fluency in English.

Pay

The posted pay range represents the base hourly rate for this position: $106.30 - $151.88 per hour. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. This position may also be eligible for bonuses or commissions.
