Co-Foreman

Working side-by-side with an experienced Foreman, you’ll learn how to lead crews, manage daily jobsite operations, and uphold our standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role is designed for those who want to develop leadership skills while continuing impactful fieldwork.
The Co-Foreman coordinates tasks and assignments based on work priority, schedules, objectives, and workforce availability. You’ll assist in monitoring project progress, keeping it on track from both time and budgetary standpoints, and serve as a leader and contributor on the crew.
Responsibilities
- Assists Foreman with leading a high-performance team serving customers in a local market/area
- Reviews job specifications to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed prior to reporting to the job site
- Assesses conditions of the job once on-site; sets plans based on time allotment, tools needed, and order of work—assigns duties to the crew
- Installs products and services with the support of a national team of trained professionals
- Innovates and troubleshoots situations as needed to complete the job to company standards and timetables
- Provides customers with superior quality and service while onsite performing work
- Ensures all final documentation is completed accurately and given to the proper parties
- Safely, correctly, and efficiently loads and unloads materials, tools, and equipment, and cleans the truck
- Performs installation duties according to instructions, methods, standards, and timetables provided by the Foreman and Company
- Drives company vehicles safely and meets all requirements to operate a company vehicle
- Assists in planning, scheduling, and coordinating work, accounting for labor hours and productivity
- Supervises, leads, and mentors a crew of two or more people; leads the crew in the absence of the Foreman
- Communicates with the customer before, during, and after job completion, addressing any changes prior to implementation
- Completes necessary paperwork, check-in, and check-out procedures as needed
- Fosters a positive team environment by building strong relationships and inspiring mutual trust, professionalism, integrity, and respect
- Adheres to and promotes Company workplace policies and procedures, including safety and anti-harassment policies
- Upholds the Company’s positive image and reputation in the community
- Performs other duties as necessary or assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Strong communication skills, ability to motivate, and be a team player
- Experience leading crews or small teams
- Previous experience in the construction or home services industry and/or trade work or general labor
- Basic construction or mechanical knowledge
- Valid, non-restrictive driver’s license
- Ability to enter crawl spaces and other confined areas
Working Conditions
- Lifts heavy objects up to 50 lbs., walks, and stands for long periods of time
- Performs strenuous physical labor, often under adverse conditions
- Lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time
- Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand and arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination
- Requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs
- Must have excellent stamina
- Ability to read reports, data, statistics, and information on computer screens
Qualifications
It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.
- Knowledge of trade-specific tools for installations and correct use and care of equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 22 kg

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this role in California is $21.60 - $25.41 per hour. Final compensation will be based on an evaluation of each candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated capabilities, and work location.
