CNV Shift Supervisor

Sofidel America of Duncan is seeking a local candidate for a long-term Converting Shift Supervisor role in a stable manufacturing environment. This position involves supervising a team in the converting department, ensuring production efficiency, safety, and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to converting department workers to investigate and resolve issues.
• Evaluate employee performance and offer training or disciplinary actions as needed.
• Determine personnel levels, conduct new employee training, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Examine the production area before shifts and conduct pre-shift meetings to review safety and production orders.
• Collaborate with the Safety Manager to implement action plans for injuries or safety concerns and complete incident reports.
• Consult with the Quality team on immediate concerns and follow up as necessary.
• Monitor machine run speeds, changeovers, and production data to ensure requirements are met.
• Assist with operations to maintain workflow, meet deadlines, and uphold quality standards.
• Report equipment issues, supply needs, or operational concerns to management.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment by following safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred, or 3–5 years of related experience/training.
• 2+ years of experience managing a production team in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Strong sense of job ownership, accountability, and effective communication skills.
• Must have or obtain a lift certification.
