About the role
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting all customers and directing them to the appropriate products.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer inquiries politely and provide accurate information.
- Order and price products accurately using CNRG point-of-sale systems.
- Stock shelves and perform cycle counts as directed.
- Recommend new products based on customer feedback.
- Assist customers with their purchases and loading items.
- Report suspicious activity to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales area.
- Use the CNRG Resource Center to report pricing issues.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience.
- Strong math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Basic knowledge of lumber, building materials, or general hardware.
- Able to lift and load up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hourly position (non-exempt from overtime).
- No guarantee of career progression within the company.
Skills

- Basic computer skills for point-of-sale systems.
