About the role
Belay Technologies is seeking a CNO Net Developer for their intel team. The position involves acting as a general-purpose CNO reverse engineer for network-based devices, designing, developing, prototyping, modifying, and integrating solutions to provide mission-centric results. The role requires close collaboration with analysts, operators, data scientists, and other software engineers.
Responsibilities
- Augment existing toolsets.
- Derive, document, and analyze requirements.
- Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements.
- Produce end tool sets that can operate within mission constraints.
- Test and oversee testing of toolsets for release.
Requirements
- TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
- Twelve (12) years, B.S. or ten (10) years with M.S., four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Qualifications
- Familiar with Unix based systems.
- Experience with reverse engineering Linux based network devices.
- In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP), and analysis of network traffic (e.g., Wireshark).
- Skills in producing and modifying software systems in C/C++, Python, Assembly.
- Experience with Git and Subversion.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
Skills Requirements
- Familiar with Unix based systems.
- Experience with reverse engineering Windows or embedded platforms (RTOS).
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust.
- Experience with developing CNO specific software in Linux/Windows/Embedded applications.
- Experience with Vulnerability Research and Exploit development.
- Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.

Salary Range: $190,000 to $240,000
