About the role
The position is for a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) providing inpatient obstetric care during night shifts at an on-site facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient obstetric services including vaginal deliveries, labor, and postpartum care.
- Manage a patient load averaging 11 patients per shift, with approximately 10 deliveries during the day.
- Work scheduled 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), three shifts per week.
- Provide continuous patient care without call coverage requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Board certification in midwifery or relevant specialty.
- Experience in obstetrics, labor, and delivery, with the ability to handle postpartum care.
- Strong clinical skills in managing adult obstetric patients.
Key Duties
- Provide inpatient obstetric care in a structured clinical environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain adherence to established clinical protocols and workflows.
