About the role
The CNC Programmer/Operator will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to manufacture parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Program CNC machine tools using appropriate software
- Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment
- Work collaboratively with engineers and other team members
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience in CNC operations
- Proficiency with CNC programming languages such as G-code and/or CAM software
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
