CNC Programmer & Machining Technician

Location: First Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM | Saturdays 6:00 AM-12:00 PM as needed (up to 56 hours/week) Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (Potential after 90 days) Starting Pay: From $33.00/hour (Higher compensation available based on experience.) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer & Machining Technician to manufacture precision industrial components. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment while maintaining tight machining tolerances and producing high-quality finished parts in a heavy industrial environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret machining drawings and technical blueprintsProgram, set up, and operate CNC lathes and CNC millsCreate and edit G-code programs using Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain controls (experience with all controls is not required)Machine parts to specifications while maintaining tolerances as tight as 0.0005"Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other precision measuring toolsProduce accurate, high-quality components while meeting production requirementsFollow established safety procedures in a heavy industrial manufacturing environmentMaintain dependable attendance and work scheduled hours, including occasional SaturdaysLift up to 50 pounds as needed Qualifications Experience programming and operating CNC lathes and millsAbility to read and interpret machining drawings and technical documentationExperience with G-code programmingFamiliarity with Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain CNC controlsStrong understanding of precision machining and quality standardsExperience using calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipmentExcellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
