About the role
Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. is seeking a CNC Programmer CAD / CAM to join our team in Orangeburg, NY.
Responsibilities
- Generate CNC programs from CAD/CAM software
- Create and update technical drawings based on customer and company requirements
- Develop new programs for new parts and revise existing programs for efficiency and automation
- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures based on part material, geometry, features, tolerances, rigidity, and equipment capability
- Train new machinists and partner with experienced machinists on program improvements and Machine Shop initiatives/projects
- Perform regular productivity measurements, including physical measurement of machining cycles on the shop floor, variance analysis from standard, and proposals for adjustments to improve flow
Requirements
- A minimum of an Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years preferred CAD/CAM experience
- General and practical knowledge of measuring tools, equipment, and concepts
- Working knowledge and understanding of proper usage of machine tooling, inserts, fixtures, and holding components
- Experience reading and creating technical drawings/blueprints
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Pay
The salary range in New York for this role is $67,600 - $92,950.
