CNC Programmer

What’s the Job?

Program and support CNC machining processes for large-format equipment including VTL, VBM, gantry 5-axis, and multi-purpose turn/grind machines.

Generate and maintain CNC programs using NX-CAM or similar software for milling, turning, grinding, and/or EDM.

Verify CNC programs using Vericut prior to release to the shop floor.

Provide daily CNC troubleshooting and operator support including probing cycles, process validation, and tooling/fixturing needs.

Lead process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

What’s Needed?

• 4+ years of CNC programming experience using a graphical CAM system (NX-CAM preferred).
• Experience with multi-axis CNC machining.
• Ability to support machine startup, operator training, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of tooling, fixturing, and machining parameters.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of CNC programming languages and tools.
• Experience with CNC machines and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with CNC programming software such as NX-CAM.
• Experience with multi-axis CNC machining.
• Experience with Vericut for verification of CNC programs.
