CNC Programmer

Role: CNC Programmer responsible for developing and optimizing programs for CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components. Key Responsibilities: Program CNC machines using Mastercam, set up and operate Haas 3-axis equipment, select tooling and machining strategies, interpret blueprints and GD&T, machine tight-tolerance parts from various materials, perform inspections, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain equipment and safety standards, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; 5+ years experience with Mastercam; proficiency in CNC setup and programming; blueprint reading and GD&T skills; familiarity with precision measurement tools; strong problem-solving ability; capable of working independently in a shop environment. Physical & Work Environment: Ability to lift 20 lbs., stand, bend, and operate machinery; work in a noisy shop requiring PPE; occasional overtime may be needed.
