Working closely with engineering and production teams, this role drives continuous improvement in machining processes, enhances manufacturing efficiency, and supports the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer and operational requirements Essential Responsibilities Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs for various machines. Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings. Set up machines and perform test runs. Select appropriate tools and materials for jobs. Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machine issues. Maintain records and documentation for programs and setups. Train and mentor entry-level programmers and operators. Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS Associate’s degree in CNC programming or related field preferred. 2-5 years of CNC programming experience. Experience with mills, lathes, and routers. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours per day. The employee frequently uses hands and arms to handle materials and equipment and may be required to walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but at times loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
