About the role
The CNC Programmer is responsible for designing and programming CNC machine tools to produce precise parts and components.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop CNC programs for various materials and applications
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to program machines accurately
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize machining processes
- Perform regular maintenance checks on CNC equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC programming
- Proficiency in CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar
- Strong understanding of metalworking processes and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Knowledge of ISO standards and industry best practices
- Experience with CNC machine operation and setup
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and controls
