About the role
The CNC Programmer is responsible for designing and programming CNC machine tools to manufacture complex parts and components.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM software
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to program CNC machines
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency of CNC programs through testing and validation
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve issues and improve processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC programming
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code and/or ISO standards
- Experience with CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Knowledge of CNC machine operation and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
