About the role
As a CNC Press Brake Fabrication Specialist at CIT, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and inspecting metal components using advanced machinery. You will work closely with engineers and other manufacturing personnel to ensure that all projects meet quality standards.Responsibilities
- Design and fabricate metal components using CNC press brakes and other fabrication equipment.
- Inspect fabricated parts to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement new fabrication processes.
- Use CAD software to create detailed drawings and blueprints.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC press brake fabrication.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
- Strong understanding of metalworking techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
