About the role
The CNC Operator/Programmer operates and programs 3-axis CNC routers to cut parts for assembly into game components, validates and verifies the accuracy and quality of all items, and ensures minimal waste.
Responsibilities
- Program toolpaths for 3-axis CNC cutting of wood, MDF, and plastics based on existing production designs
- Prepare files in Enroute and Vectric VCarve Pro for cutting on Multicam 3-axis and Laguna routers
- Access, organize, and maintain appropriate cut files in Google Drive
- Communicate with component designers and carpenters
- QC sign-off for all items leaving CNC area (compared to the design measurements) before releasing them to the shop
- Maintain frequently used parts, supplies, and backstock by checking inventory levels, anticipating needs, and submitting requests for supplies
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment and comply with all safety rules and regulations

- Knowledge of safe shop tool operation
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
Schedule
- Expected weekly hours: 40-45
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 am – 3:30 pm (possible exceptions for new store launch, new game installation, emergency maintenance, or other job-related emergencies)
- No on-call requirement
- No travel expectations
