About the Role

As a CNC Operator B, you will join a dynamic and supportive team, playing a key role in machining operations by operating Swiss-type and conventional CNC equipment to produce precision components with limited supervision. Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to cut, drill, mill, ream, bore, and broach metallic and nonmetallic parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical data
• Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make corrections to maintain quality and tolerance standards
• Track job time, collect SPC data, and support productivity and cost-reduction initiatives
• Maintain a safe work environment and perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on machines and tooling
• Support special projects and initiatives as needed to ensure smooth production

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma and/or equivalent
• 2 years of machining experience, with a minimum of 1 year of CNC operation
• Strong knowledge of machine shop equipment and practice, specifically those involving metal cutting
• Basic math skills
• Experience in reading blueprint drawings

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19 - $21 per hour, plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect considers relevant to the hiring decision.
