About the role
The CNC Operator is responsible for operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce precise metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to fabricate metal components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor production processes for quality control
- Perform preventative maintenance on CNC equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in using CNC machines
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
