Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming billets and materials for quality and accuracy.
• Stock and organize inventory and production materials.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment including Vision Measuring Systems (VMS), Calipers, & Micrometers.
• Set up machine programs based on seal type specifications and dimensional requirements.
• Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret production orders and work instructions.
• Machine parts according to customer specifications and required tolerance.
• Perform quality inspections and complete required documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support overall production and customer service objectives as needed.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and interpret production documents and measurements accurately.
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to routinely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to see and hear clearly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to accurately read measuring devices and inspect small components.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing, machining, CNC operation, or quality inspection experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work overtime, including short-notice overtime and occasional weekend call-ins as business needs require.
