Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming billets and materials for quality and accuracy.
- Stock and organize inventory and production materials.
- Utilize precision measuring equipment including Vision Measuring Systems (VMS), Calipers, & Micrometers.
- Set up machine programs based on seal type specifications and dimensional requirements.
- Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret production orders and work instructions.
- Machine parts according to customer specifications and required tolerance.
- Perform quality inspections and complete required documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support overall production and customer service objectives as needed.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and interpret production documents and measurements accurately.
- Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to routinely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to see and hear clearly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to accurately read measuring devices and inspect small components.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Manufacturing, machining, CNC operation, or quality inspection experience is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work overtime, including short-notice overtime and occasional weekend call-ins as business needs require.
