CNC Operator

Job Duties

• Operates assigned CNC machines including Johnford, Rockford, and Voortman
• Read / interpret drawings / part specifications and verify / adjust speeds and feeds for optimum machining
• Make necessary offset changes to be within allowable tolerances
• Change inserts
• Verify conformance of part to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as, scales, calipers, micrometers and fixed gauges
• Fill out inspection reports as required
• Clean machined parts to ensure ready for assembly

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent
• CNC multi-axis training and experience preferred
• Minimum 3 to 12 months CNC multi-axis machine operator experience preferred
• Able to multitask and work with minimal supervision
• Able to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy
• Able to read and use tape measure
