We are looking for a CNC Operator with a minimum of 3+ years of experience to operate a Thermwood 3-axis router at our Canandaigua location.
Responsibilities
- Set up, cut, and label materials according to the production schedule
- Monitor quality, communicate effectively, and troubleshoot processes
- Perform quality checks on product
- Operate CNC machinery including vacuum pumps, dust collection, machine interfaces, monitoring, tracking, and labeling cut lists
- Organize, label, and monitor inventory levels
- Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
Requirements
- 3+ years of CNC operation experience
- Ability to machine all types of materials (aluminum, MDF, plywood, plastics)
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and measuring devices
- Proficient in CNC machine operations
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various teams
- Reliable with a strong work ethic to work independently and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed, including some weekends
- Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
Schedule
- 8+ hour shifts, Monday through Friday
- Overtime may be required, including some weekends
