CNC Operator - 1st Shift

About the role

G.S. Precision is seeking a skilled machinist to join our dynamic team. This position operates and adjusts machines to produce precise components for aerospace and defense industries.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machines after setup by supervisor, lead person, or set-up person.
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet tolerances and specifications.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, verniers, gages, fixtures, and other measuring equipment.
• Report issues and malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
• Exercise good machine practices at all times.
• Achieve and maintain production goals for both quality and quantity.
• Keep accurate production records and maintain work areas and equipment.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 months to 1 year or more of relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and use measurement and inspection devices.
• Knowledge of part placement for optimal efficiency.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor and willingness to collaborate with all organizational levels.

Pay

$18.00 - $30.00 per hour + SIGN ON BONUS
