CNC Machnist (3rd shift)
About the role
We are currently seeking a Machinist 3rd shift (Fri-Sun, 5 am - 5:30 pm).
Responsibilities
- Load/unload parts on CNC machines to support maximum spindle utilization time
- Inspect and monitor parts as they are completed on the machine
- Deburr and blend all parts that are machined
- Maintain daily maintenance on machines including: maintaining fluid levels, emptying chips, wiping down machine to remove coolant, dust and debris
- Maintain an organized clean and safe work environment
- Communicate with co-workers regarding productions runs
Requirements
- High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred
- Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- International Traffic in Arms Regulation/Export Administration Regulations (ITAR/EAR) clearance is required
- 2 Years’ experience with CNC machining or Enrolled in Machining Program at a Technical College
Qualifications
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
- May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds
Skills
- Math skills to perform basic calculations
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Show attention to detail
- Demonstrate ability to read measuring equipment. (Calipers/Micrometers)
