About the Role
A CNC Setup Machinist sets up, operates, troubleshoots, and optimizes CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and Swiss-style equipment to produce high-precision medical components. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives and ensures adherence to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery
- Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs
- Inspect parts to blueprint specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Ability to interpret blueprints and edit programs
- Experience working with exotic materials
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical device manufacturing
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and ISO standards
- Experience with nitinol, stainless steel, or nickel alloys
