About the Role
The CNC Machinist II operates CNC machines to produce precision machined parts while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines
- Perform routine maintenance and adjust tooling
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of machined parts
- Follow work instructions and maintain documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhere to GMP/GDP practices
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and productivity targets
- Escalate issues as needed
- Support special projects
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience
- Preferred: associate's degree in Tooling & Machining or related apprenticeship
Skills
- Proficient in operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machines
- Solid math, measurement, and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team-oriented environment
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Physical & Work Environment
- Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Involves various physical motions
