Responsibilities

• Fixture design and creation to hold irregular shaped casted parts
• Strong background in GD&T, knowledge of how to work to datums
• Advanced programming using TEBIS to make live 5-axis toolpaths
• Probing parts to align and locate them using a RENISHAW probe
• Ability to shift hours in order to maintain lights-out machine utilization
• Sense of urgency to get parts running and move through the shop

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
• Knowledge of 5 Axis machines
• 3-5 years of CNC machining experience in manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace preferred
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Experience using Tebis and background with FANUC machine controllers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace and defense manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with ITAR, ISO 9001, and AS9100 requirements
• Experience machining complex, high-value, tight-tolerance aerospace or defense components
