Responsibilities
- Set-up, run, and operate programs on CNC machines (DMG Mori and Haas) for complex parts.
- Complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or schematics under tight tolerances.
- Perform on-machine deburr as well as manual deburr as needed.
- Inspect parts with on-machine probing as well as with manual tools such as micrometers, thread gauges, and indicators.
- Perform machine preventative maintenance and manage cutting fluid.
- Take part in process improvement projects and help in constantly improving processes and the shop.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in set-up and operation of CNC machines.
- Experience machining aluminum, stainless, titanium, or Inconel.
- Experience with 5-axis machining.
- Experience reading blueprints, part drawings, and schematics.
