CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift
About the role
Your future role is to review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output, program, operate and maintain a CNC mill, plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job, take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping, determine and program size of batches and speed of machines, and check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
- Programming, operating and maintaining a CNC mill
- Planning the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
- Taking measurements and marking material for cutting or shaping
- Determining and programming size of batches and speed of machines
- Checking output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
Requirements
- Experience as a machinist in an industrial environment
- Ability to program equipment using Fanuc G code
- Ability to drill, tap and de-bur various parts
- Knowledge of the properties of metal and other materials
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Current certification in OSHA 10H

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
