CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team on 2nd shift at our Huntsville, Alabama location. This full-time position includes a $2.00/hour shift premium and quarterly profit sharing.

About the Role

Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision metal cutting. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where teamwork and continuous improvement are key.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines
• Understand CNC programs
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments
• Apply machine shop mathematics
• Utilize lean principles
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Participate in work groups and high-performance teams for continuous improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or designee

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Previous education and/or experience operating CNC machines is strongly preferred

Work Conditions

• Standing for 8-10 hours per day
• Frequent reaching, grasping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Occasional walking
• Working in and around oil and solvent
